I like the confused looks Tim Tebow is causing.

Just a short entry for tonight, but something I wanted to make a comment on. I not a Florida fan, and I’m not Denver Bronco fan. I’m not even  a Tim Tebow fan. It doesn’t matter  to me whether he becomes a Hall of Famer or is out of the NFL in two years. I …

ACC Week 11 awards. The Good, The Bad and the Maryland.

The dream ACC Championship moves one game closer. Clemson clinched the ACC Atlantic beating Wake Forest and moves to 9-1. Virginia Tech controls their own destiny and also sits 9-1 after they defeated Georgia Tech Thursday. Primetime 8 PM, sellout, two top 10 teams… yep unless you are playing one of these teams or like …

It’s nearly the middle of November and the ACC will send their champion to the Orange Bowl, and that will be it as far as the conference goes with BCS teams. Wait a minute 2011 might just be different. For the first time the ACC has 2 teams the Clemson Tigers and Virginia Tech Hokies …

Penn State story just saddens me.

I sat down tonight with the full intent to write about some of the sports I love to follow, and I just couldn’t. With all that is going on an Penn St it’s kind of hard to just write about fun topics, when anywhere from 8-20 or more children were abused. The alleged acts so …

ACC Bowl Projections for November 7, 2011

Did those ACC Bowl predictions change since last week? A bowl eligible Wake Forest, North Carolina, or NC State may not make the cut, unless another spot open elsewhere. So who gets left out? 10 Reasons why there should not be a LSU Alabama rematch for the BCS Title.

The game of the century was Saturday night, 1 vs 2, LSU vs Alabama. It’ was a hard hitting, back and forth defensive struggle, that LSU won 9-6 in Tuscaloosa. If you like defense, it was a classic. I like defense I thought it was a heck of a game, but I don’t want to …

ACC Week 10 awards. The Good, The Bad and the Ugly.

Some of the ACC heavyweights (Clemson, Virginia Tech, Georgia Tech) got a much needed BYE week, but that doesn’t mean there weren’t some pivotal results. Let see what the Good, The Bad and The Ugly for the week was. The Good Going Bowling The Mike London rebuilding project at Virginia continues to gather steam. The …

What ACC Championship Game do you want to see?

Time for a little ACC poll. With just over a month left before the ACCCG, which matchup would you most like to see? I’ve read that less than 1000 general sale tickets remain. That’s good news for the ACC. It sure isn’t like it was when the game was held in Florida and you couldn’t …

Maryland Terrapin Football: October Month in Review – Team Dysfunctional

Maryland Terrapin football is a complete mess in 2011. With one of the best returning ACC QB’s in Danny O’Brien, I felt this could be a darkhorse team in the ACC Atlantic, but Randy Edsall’s squad is in total disarray. Our resident Maryland expert contributing writer Josh Burton has put together a very fair assessment of …

ACC Week 9 awards. The Good, The Bad and the Ugly.

If you can figure out another wacky and wild weekend in the ACC please let me know. Clemson goes down at Georgia Tech, and then what I feel was an even bigger shocker Boston College wins at Maryland. I didn’t see that BC win coming at all. Ok awards time… The Good No ball for …

ACC out of the BCS Title Race, but all is not lost.

Just some quick random thought tonight after Clemson’s stunning 31-17 loss at Georgia Tech. Tomorrow I’ll post the usual ACC weekly awards. With Clemson losing this evening the ACC is virtually eliminated from the BCS Title chase. Sadly the general fan feedback was that was just Clemson being Clemson, and the ACC is just mediocre …

Better for ACC Football, BCS Title Team or Several good teams?

ACC fans understand the conference is always fighting for national respect when it comes to football. This season the ACC has a team in the BCS Title conversation, the Clemson Tigers. The Tigers are ranked 6th in both major polls and 5th in the BCS Standings, and sit 8-0. There’s no question they’ve got a shot at …

Some Great Clemson\Georgia Tech moments of the past.

This game is special for me and one I consider one of the South’s most underrated rivalries. Having went to both schools, I know this rivalry well. It’s a pretty friendly one, but highly competitive. Rarely has this game had so much on the line. Clemson is right in the thick of the national title race, …
