December 11, 2025 ACC Basketball Power Rankings

We’ll add RPI Rankings when we have more data points. We also take a guess at where the NCAA tournament cutline should be.

18. Boston College (5-5, 0-0) NET 189

Last Week: 18

Boston College has already lost 5 times. There’s going to be a lot more Ls coming. They have no games this week.

17. Georgia Tech (6-4, 0-0) NET 200

Last Week : 17

Georgia Tech looks like they will be battling Boston College for the bottom of the ACC all season. If they lose to either Marist or Lafayette just call it a season.

16. Florida State (5-4, 0-0) NET 122

Last Week: 14

FSU has lost three games in a row, all by double digits. They need to sweep UMass and Dayton this week.

15. Pitt (5-5, 0-0) NET 164

Last week: 13

Pitt has that win over Ohio State, but nothing else. What are they doing losing to Hofstra? Villanova and Binghamton are this week.

14. Stanford  (7-2, 0-0) NET 119

Last Week: 10

Stanford was cruising along until an ugly home loss to UNLV. San Jose St and UT Arlington are ahead this week.

13. Syracuse (5-3, 0-0) NET 73

Last week: 16

Syracuse gets a bump after a great win over Tennessee. Watch out for this team. St. Joe’s and Pitt killer Hofstra are this week.

12. Notre Dame (8-3, 0-0) NET 68

Last week: 15

Someone please tell the Notre Dame AD not to go nuclear on me for having the Irish 12th. The wins over Missouri and TCU are solid, but they may have lost star Marcus Burton for more than a month.  Evansville is this week.

11. NC State (7-3, 0-0) NET 30

Last Week: 11

If NC State could knock off Kansas at home, it could change the trajectory of its season.

10. Virginia Tech (8-2, 0-0) NET 56

Last Week: 12

Virginia Tech is moving back towards the bubble. The win at South Carolina helps. MD Easter Shore should be win number 9.

9. Wake Forest (7-3, 0-0) NET 59

Last Week: 8

Michigan has destroyed just about everything in its path, but Wake Forest took them to OT. There’s potential here. Queens City and Longwood shouldn’t be a problem.

8. Miami (8-2, 0-0)  NET 25

Last Week: 9

That win at Ole Miss looks good. Miami’s metrics are solid. Don’t slip against UL Monroe or FIU this week.

7. Clemson (7-3, 0-0) NET 27

Last Week: 5

Clemson blew a more than 20+ point lead to BYU in what would have been a massive win. If they beat Mercer and South Carolina, they stay on the right side of the bubble.

6. California  (9-1, 0-0) NET 54

Last Week: 6

Look who’s won 6 games in a row. Cal has Northwestern State this week.

5. SMU  (9-1, 0-0) NET 31

Last Week: 3

SMU was able to get a good win over Texas A&M. LSU is next, and that’s another chance for a Power conference win.

4. Virginia  (9-1, 0-0) NET 21

Last Week: 7

Virginia is on an absolute roll, racking up double-digit wins left and right. Their next game is 12/20 against Maryland.

3. North Carolina (8-1, 0-0) NET 16

Last Week: 4

North Carolina won at Kentucky and beat Georgetown as they continue to look like a top 4 seed. SC Upstate and ETSU are in the week ahead.

2. Louisville (8-1, 0-0) NET 13

Last Week 2

Louisville got a nice quality win against Indiana. Memphis and Tennessee are this week.

1. Duke (10-0, 0-0) NET 2

Last Week: 1

The win at Michigan State was impressive, and Duke continues to build a #1 seed resume. Lipscomb is this week.
