How the ACC compares to the other Power 5 conferences in football recruiting. You may be surprised.

Not long ago I took a look at how the ACC teams were doing in recruiting this summer.  A month has passed that piece, and I want to address that how the ACC as a whole  is building significant football recruiting momentum. How much so? You might be surprised. ACCPrescription also covered recently the ACC’s recruiting …

Reader’s choice ACC article. You pick the topic!

Recently I wrote the piece “What each ACC Football program must do to reach their potential.” at the request of one of my twitter followers as something that would be interesting. The response has been great. It’s been one of my most popular blogs posts in months. I’m going to try something here on the blog, and …

What each ACC football program must do to reach their potential.

I got this idea for an article from a follower mine on twitter @iLLDuce. What each ACC football program must do to reach their potential. The simple answers are get better players and get better coaching, and you can compete for and win national titles. Sometimes that is the answer, but not always. There are …

TV’s influence on College Football.

Prior to the ACC’s finalizing their GOR agreement in April, we had pretty much spent previous 15 months talking about college football conferences and their TV contracts. With Notre Dame, Pittsburgh, and Syracuse officially in the ACC, here’s what I like about each addition.

Pretty significant day for the ACC Monday as Pittsburgh, Notre Dame, and Syracuse became official members of the ACC. I know some folks are saying what’s the big deal, we knew this was happening for months. It’s never official, until well it’s 100% official. Just ask the Big East, with smart moves to try an …

Ranking the 5 best Defensive Linemen in the ACC for 2013.

We are now headed to the defensive side ball, starting with the defensive line. There’s a lot of talent here in the ACC, and I had to leave some quality linemen off my top 5 list. This is a good sign that the ACC is getting better across the both lines of scrimmage. Previous Rankings …

3 Darkhorse College Football Teams that can make it to the National Title Game.

Last year Notre Dame started the season on the fringe of the top 25 in many polls, and outside the top 15 in every major poll. Which 3 teams are likely to start the season down the list of the top 25, but with a little luck can make the National Title Game? Take a …
