What is the biggest indignity an ACC basketball team can have in a season? It’s missing the ACC Tournament. You were so bad, you couldn’t even qualify for not just the NCAA tournament, but the ACC Tournament.
Pittsburgh, Georgia Tech, and Notre Dame would all miss the ACC Tournament if it were today.
All have coaches in their 3rd year or more. Miss the ACC Tournament, and all will be fired or enter next year majorly on the hotseat.
They may be in big trouble even if they make it, but sitting at home during the conference tournament may seal their fates.
