February 12, 2026 ACC Basketball Power Rankings

We also take a guess at where the NCAA tournament cutline should be.

Stats come from https://www.warrennolan.com/

18. Notre Dame (11-14, 2-10) NET 88, RPI 97

Last week: 18

The pillow fight between Georgia Tech and Notre Dame this week will determine who’s at the bottom of this list next week. The Irish also head to Pitt.

17. Georgia Tech (11-14, 2-10) NET 159, RPI 213

Last Week : 17

Georgia Tech is a corpse of a program. They go to Notre Dame and host Virginia, and there is a real chance they don’t win another game this year.

16. Pitt (9-16, 2-10) NET 125, RPI 174

Last week: 16

Pitt has 4 losses in a row, all by double digits. They go to UNC, but Notre Dame at home is a chance at a win.

15. Boston College (9-15, 2-9) NET 151, RPI 210

Last Week: 15

BC hasn’t won a game in 3 weeks. They host Cal and head to FSU. They can end Cal’s last gasp NCAA hopes.

14. Wake Forest (12-12, 3-8) NET 65, RPI 80

Last Week: 14

Wake Forest found out they are at least better than Georgia Tech when they won in Atlanta. There is still talent there, and I feel like they are going to knock off either Stanford or Clemson this week.

13. Florida State (11-13, 4-7) NET 94, RPI 120

Last Week: 13

FSU nearly knocked off Virginia. They play at Virginia Tech and host BC this week. I like the way they’ve played in the last month.

12. Syracuse (14-11, 5-7) NET 68, RPI 95

Last week: 12

Syracuse is just playing spoiler. SMU better watch out at Syracuse. The Cuse also heads to Duke.

11. California  (16-8, 5-7) NET 63, RPI 59

Last Week: 9

Cal has slipped off the NCAA radar. They better not lose at Boston College or that would be the final nail in the NCAA coffin.

10. Stanford  (16-9, 5-7) NET 69, RPI 55

Last Week: 11

It’s an absolute must that Stanford sweeps Wake Forest and California this week.

——————————————- NCAA Cutline —————————————————————

9. Virginia Tech (17-8, 6-6) NET 51, RPI 37

Last Week: 10

Virginia Tech picked up a massive win at Clemson. They need to keep the momentum going and get at least a split with FSU and at Miami.

8. Miami (19-5, 8-3)  NET 36, RPI 64

Last Week: 8

Sweeping BC and UNC has Miami in solid NCAA shape. They go to NC State and get Virginia Tech at home in the week ahead.

7. SMU  (17-7, 6-5) NET 34, RPI 28

Last Week: 7

SMU goes to Syracuse and hosts Louisville this week. They have to stay at .500 or better in the league,

6. NC State (18-7, 9-3) NET 29, RPI 33

Last Week: 6

NC State got humbled by Louisville, but they can get right with home games against Miami and UNC.

5. Louisville (18-6, 8-4) NET 14, RPI 22

Last Week: 5

A tricky week is ahead for Louisville with games at Baylor and at SMU. Cardinals are playing well, though.

4. North Carolina (19-5, 7-4) NET 25, RPI 8

Last Week: 4

A roller coaster week for UNC. They beat Duke, lost to Miami, and now Caleb Wilson has a fractured hand. Pitt and a game at NC State are ahead.

3. Clemson (20-5, 10-2) NET 33, RPI 34

Last Week: 3

Clemson stays at 3 barely after an ugly home loss to Virginia Tech. Now they head to Duke and Wake Forest. They have to be careful that the season doesn’t start slipping.

2. Virginia  (21-3, 10-2) NET 18, RPI 25

Last Week: 2

Virginia is easily in the NCAAs. If they sweep Ohio State and Georgia Tech, they can really start thinking about a top 4 NCAA seed.

1. Duke (22-2, 11-1) NET 3, RPI 3

Last Week: 1

In both of Duke’s losses, including the recent one to UNC, the Blue Devils faded late. That’s something to watch against good teams. Clemson and Syracuse are at Duke this week.
