Bonus Pick – Who wins the 2025 FCS National Title (game technically in 2026)?
- Matthew: North Dakota State has the best FCS football program in the nation – and it’s not close. Bison win again.
- Jeff: North Dakota State – because sure why not.
- Ethan: North Dakota State!
- Dan: North Dakota State. Easy money. The FCS title isn’t leaving the Dakotas any time soon.
- Sam: In a year where Montana is rebuilding and Montana State is replacing star QB Tommy Mellot, North Dakota State feels like the safe bet. Watch for Tarleton State, though. That’s a program with FBS aspirations.
- Tim: It’s hard not to go with North Dakota State given the desolation of South Dakota State’s roster and program following their coach’s departure for Washington State. Montana State will be strong as long as Brent Vigen is there but lost some pieces last season. Could this be a major opportunity for South Dakota? Sacramento State may not be a title contender but their season will be fascinating to watch as if they can emerge as a top 10 team in year 1 under Brennan Marion, that could help them make their case to a FBS conference like the Mountain West.
- Ben P: Oregon (Sione Laulea gonna ball out this year) [Editor’s Note: Oregon is not FCS, friend lol – we’re counting you as the NDSU pick]
