Boston College proved they aren’t as bad as Syracuse by knocking them off to end the season.

15. North Carolina (4-8, 2-6)
Last Week: 15

North Carolina was a story this season for all the wrong reasons.

14. Virginia Tech (3-9, 2-6)

13. Florida State (5-7, 2-6)
Last Week: 13

Florida State as a program is a trainwreck.

12. Stanford (4-8, 3-5)

Stanford has a new coach Tavita Pritchard. The 4-8 season wasn’t as bad as many thought it could have been.

11. California (7-6, 4-4)
Last Week: 9

Cal collapsed late in their bowl game to Hawaii, but remember QB Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele is back.

10. Clemson (7-6, 4-4)
Last Week: 7

Clemson has finally embraced the transfer portal. Let’s see if it makes a difference, because Clemson needs to stop the decline before they become Florida State.

9. Wake Forest (9-4, 4-4)
Last Week: 11

Wake Forest completed a truly remarkable season with a bowl win over Mississippi State in the Mayo Bowl.

8. Louisville (9-4, 4-4)
Last Week 10

Louisville won 9 games again. How does Jeff Brohm take that next step?

7. NC State (8-5, 4-4)
Last Week: 8

NC State for all the ups and downs of this season, still found a way to win 8 games with a bowl victory. QB CJ Bailey makes them dangerous next year.

6. Georgia Tech (9-4, 6-2)
Last Week : 4

Georgia Tech’s bowl game ended like their season – oh so close to something great as they nearly beat top 15 BYU.

5. Pitt (8-5, 6-2)
Last week: 3

Pitt really fell apart down the stretch other than that late season win over Georgia Tech.

4. Duke (9-5, 6-2)
Last Week:6

Duke finished the year winning the ACC, and then winning the Sun Bowl. The only downside is the QB Darian Mensah saga that’s ongoing.

3. SMU (9-4, 6-2)
Last Week: 5

SMU finished off a fine season, beating Arizona in the Holiday Bowl. With QB Kevin Jennings back, this is a pre-season top 25 team.

2. Virginia (11-3, 7-1)
Last Week: 2

Virginia had a historically great season that ended with a Gator Bowl win over Missouri.

1. Miami (13-3, 6-2)
Last Week: 1

Miami got all the way to the national title game to finish the season as the #2 team in all of college football. They also made millions in the process. It was a truly special season for the Hurricanes.
