In the one of most nauseating headlines I’ve ever seen on ESPN, the national title game between Alabama and Clemson is being called an “Glorified SEC Title Game”.
I’m a little confused by this, because isn’t Clemson in the ACC? If Kentucky and North Carolina met for the national title in basketball would it be called a Glorified ACC Title game? Of course not.
The article itself isn’t bad, but headline is laughable.

If Clemson has joined the SEC I would like to have “our” share of their television revenue. Pay up!
