While Virginia took a gut-wrenching opening loss to Florida on Friday, Wake Forest had the exact opposite result on Saturday.
Down 2-1 in the 8th inning, their bat silenced most of the game against Stanford pitching, they come back against the Stanford Cardinals for their first CWS win since 1955. If the Deacs can beat quality teams without much from their offense, then watch out becuase you aren’t going to keep that offense in check often.
