Expect the Big 10 to move to un-equal revenue share, too (part 2)

Well, if you thought it wasn’t going to happen buckle up, because more statements are pointing to the Big 10 going to an unequal revenue share.

The Washington AD alluded to it back in the summer.

Now from a USAToday Article.

Ohio State president Ted Carter told USA TODAY that revenue sharing in the Big Ten – more cash for elite television properties – is “going to be a conversation that will be had over time.”

“There’s only a couple of schools that really represent the biggest brands in the Big Ten,” Carter said.

As I said in the summer, it’s only a matter of time before the SEC starts saying this. No way the Alabamas and Georgias are going to stand pat if Ohio State and Michigan get increases.

This is a story to keep an eye on.
