2025 Week 11 ACC Football Power Rankings

ACC Team of the Week : California– for a 29-26  win over Louisville

17. Boston College (1-9, 0-6)

Last Week: 17

Boston College is the only winless team in the ACC, but they have had competitive moments. Can they throw a scare into Georgia Tech this week?

16. Syracuse (3-7, 1-6)

Last week: 16

The season can’t end soon enough for Syracuse. That’s about the nicest thing you can say about Syracuse.

15. Florida State (4-5, 1-5)

Last Week: 11

Florida State lost an ACC game this past weekend. What else is new? That makes 2 wins in the Noles last 14 ACC games. Virginia Tech is this week.

14. Stanford  (3-7, 2-5)

Last Week: 14

Stanford is off this week. Even at 3 – 7 they’ve maxed out their talent in 2025.

13. North Carolina (4-5, 2-3)

Last Week: 15

North Carolina is one of the ACC’s more improved teams in the second half of the season. Now they get Wake Forest, who might be due for a letdown after upsetting Virginia.

12. Virginia Tech (3-6, 2-3)

Last Week: 13

Can Virginia Tech add to Florida State’s misery this weekend?

11. Wake Forest (6-3, 3-3)

Last Week: 12

Wake Forest came up with one of the best defensive performances of any ACC team in an upset at Virginia. With a bowl locked up, now it’s bowl placement with North Carolina upcoming.

10. Clemson (4-5, 3-4)

Last Week: 9

Clemson played their most complete game of the season. It was just Florida State, but the game was never in doubt in a 24-10 win. They still need 2 more wins to get bowl eligible.

9. Duke (5-4, 4-1)

Last Week:6

Duke is the ACC’s worst nightmare. A team that could get to the ACCCG, but is just 1-3 out of conference. It was an ugly loss to UConn this past week, but now they get Virginia at home. A win leaves them very much in contention for a trip to Charlotte.

8. California  (6-4, 3-3)

Last Week: 10

Cal stunned Louisville by winning 29-26 in OT at Louisville. This might just save Justin Wilcox’s job. They get a week to enjoy it.

7. NC State (5-4, 2-3)

Last Week: 8

NC State heads to Miami trying to upset another top ACC team. The Canes better be ready.

6. SMU  (7-3, 5-1)

Last Week: 7

SMU could find itself back in Charlotte if they keep taking care of business. They get a week off to ready for Louisville.

5. Louisville (7-2, 4-2)

Last Week 2

Louisville always does this. Year after year, Louisville loses a game they have absolutely no business losing. They did it again, losing to California. Now they have to watch out it doesn’t become another one with erratic Clemson on Friday night.

4. Virginia  (8-2, 5-1)

Last Week: 4

Virginia’s offensive iconsistency finally was too much to overcome in a mess of a home loss to Wake Forest. Can they right things at Duke if QB Chandler Morris doesn’t play? The season hangs in the balance.

3. Miami (7-2, 3-2)

Last Week: 5

Miami needs to just stay the course and get to 10-2 and see where they stand in the playoff hunt. They’ll be in the discussion.  A dangerous NC State comes to town this week.

2. Georgia Tech (8-1, 5-1)

Last Week : 4

We find out if a week off has made Georgia Tech’s defense functional enough for a 2 game stretch with Pitt and UGA. They’d better show something against Boston College first.

1. Pitt (7-2, 5-1)

Last week: 3

Okay, Pitt, even though your coach, Pat Narduzzi, is trying as hard as possible to downplay the Notre Dame game, it’s a massive opportunity for the Panthers to make a national splash. ABC, and Gameday are there – make it count and prove you should be here.
