As has been the case the last few years, new news on the ACC Network may not happen for weeks or even months, and then there will be a flurry of news for a couple of days. It has happened that way again. Yesterday we wrote about Louisville revealing their production studio layout.
Today we learned at the ACC Basketball Media Days that the ACC Network is on or ahead of schedule according to ACC Commissioner John Swofford.
Check out this series of tweets from these ACC Media Members…
Distribution: Swoff says ACC Network (as prev. announced) is included in agreement with Disney/Altice. (4.3 million subscribers)

We previously thought the number of subscribers from this Altice deal was 2.4 Million – so that’s good news for the ACC Network.
Swofford says everything else with the ACC Network is on schedule if not slightly ahead of schedule.

This is all very encouraging news for the ACC Network. Many had questions about the ACC Network’s distribution and carriage. So far it seems to be moving along as well as hoped for the ACC Fans and the member schools.
