Good evening, Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) sports fans.
If you’re like me, you’re closing out the weekend watching Georgia Tech and Tennessee – and you don’t want this college football weekend to end.
Those of you who know me know that I’m a Virginia Tech alumnus and fan – and obviously had a great interest in watching a football rivalry, the Black Diamond Trophy, resume when Virginia Tech took on West Virginia in Landover, MD at Redskins Stadium (Federal Express Field). The Hokies had not played the Mountaineers since 2005 – so it was terrific to see the rivals go at it again. As @TalkinACCSports said, we watched a potential star in the making in Josh Jackson, Virginia Tech’s quarterback.

What Virginia Tech needs to work on (the pass rush):
Coverage was often not really that bad, Grier was just throwing lasers into tight coverage. Sometimes the QB just wins.

Why Virginia Tech is blessed (The QB Whisperer in Justin Fuente – and guess what – the offense is good – I’m buying):
(QB Whisperer is what I wrote about right? lol – that’s my phrase lol https://t.co/WoCS6K4sNJ)

Buying from Week 1:
– Hokies offense
– FSU defense
– Lamar’s Heisman hopes
– Akers, Etienne as future star RBs
– Fuente as next elite coach— #DaHale (@DavidHaleESPN) September 4, 2017
The Black Diamond Trophy game outcome:
“It’s just another example of the kind of man he is..” @CoachFuente on having Coach Beamer as an honorary captain

What the future may hold for Virginia Tech:
VT should be 4-0 entering game against reigning national champion Clemson. Last time 4-0 was 2011. Lost to Clemson. https://t.co/As5l4kTRyt
