\u00a0Yes, it\u2019s 100% way early – but if the season ended today, his name would be in play. \u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/espn.go.com\/mens-college-basketball\/story\/_\/id\/10283311\/durand-johnson-pitt-panthers-season-torn-acl\">Can they survive ACC play without Durand Johnson<\/a><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Duke – The Devils finally started getting some production out of their guards (we are fans of Parker and Hood). \u00a0Duke bounced back quite well vs. the Hoos on Monday (when the Dukies get embarrassed, they generally come back)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">Virginia – The Hoos are playing like the team everyone thought they would at the beginning of the year. \u00a0The Cavaliers ran a clinic on the Wolfies – winning by 31. \u00a0Lots of teams will lose at Duke – we don\u2019t consider this an unacceptable loss… Virginia showed guts on the road at Cameron.<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Florida State – Leonard Hamilton is a two-time ACC coach of the year award winner – and you can see why. \u00a0Had the best week of any team – nice road win at Clemson – and demolishing the Terps at home.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\" start=\"6\">\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">North Carolina – Tar Heels basically scored a history low in the shot clock era vs. Syracuse. \u00a0That\u2019s what an active 2-3 zone will do to you.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\" start=\"7\">\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Clemson – Meet the new grinders of the ACC. \u00a0Tigers are always going to play tough defense. \u00a0If the offense improves over these next few weeks, you could see the Tigers being a trendy team to name be watching on Selection Sunday (not saying they make it at all, but if they continue playing the way they are now, then you will be watching for their name).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\" start=\"8\">\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Notre Dame – I was bullish on Notre Dame – and I was wrong – they are going to miss Jerian Grant (in a big way).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\" start=\"9\">\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Maryland – The Terps better start defending the three-point shot or they are going to drop even further in this poll.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\" start=\"10\">\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Miami – Meet the team that\u2019s improved every week of the season – that\u2019s what good coaching from Jim Larranaga can do for you.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\" start=\"11\">\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">North Carolina State – Losing by 31 at home? \u00a0Really, Wolfies?!?!?! \u00a0SMH!!!<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\" start=\"12\">\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Georgia Tech – The Jackets are severely underrated – and could find themselves in the top 10 of this poll if they continue on last week\u2019s success with the W over the Irish.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\" start=\"13\">\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Wake Forest – Jeff Bzdelik is 1-26 in ACC road games (and 2-49 in road games dating back to his tenure at Colorado). \u00a0Let\u2019s say that again – that\u2019s one win and 26 losses in ACC road games (!!!!!!!).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\" start=\"14\">\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Boston College – The Eagles won the cellar dweller battle in Blacksburg this past Saturday. \u00a0That\u2019s the only reason they vacated our site poll cellar spot.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\" start=\"15\">\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Virginia Tech – The Hokies only have a few chances for ACC wins – and blew one vs. Boston College this past Saturday. \u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/sports.yahoo.com\/ncaab\/teams\/vah\/\">Take a look at the schedule here<\/a>. \u00a0There aren\u2019t many opportunities for ACC wins for the Hokies. \u00a0Maybe Miami or Wake Forest? \u00a0Maybe Maryland if lucky at home?
