morning, Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC)\u00a0fans. \u00a0Hope you are doing well. \u00a0Let’s go around the blogosphere – and check what is going on in #ACC country (this is a rare second edition).<\/p>\n<p>First, SBN Wake Forest sports blog, Blogger So Dear, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bloggersodear.com\/2016\/7\/11\/12149130\/tim-duncan-retiring-after-19-nba-seasons-wake-forest-san-antonio-spurs-nba-basketball\">reflects on the retirement of Tim Duncan<\/a>, Demon Deacon alum.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Tim is perhaps the greatest to ever play Power Forward in the NBA, racking up five Championships, 15 All-Star Games, 10 Times First Team All-NBA, one of only four players to be a three time Finals MVP.\u00a0 There is a whole host of other accolades you can toss Tim’s way, but perhaps the most “Tim Duncan” of them all is that he is now one of only three players in history, joining Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Robert Parrish in winning 1,000+ career games.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>We agree. \u00a0No more needs to be said. \u00a0Is this guy also the greatest Wake Forest athlete? \u00a0Most likely, yes – and he’s certainly in the picture for one of the best ACC athletes.<\/p>\n<p>Second, Fansided Clemson blog, Rubbing the Rock, <a href=\"https:\/\/rubbingtherock.com\/2016\/07\/13\/clemson-basketball-report-demontez-stitt-passes-away\/\">shows us how short life can be<\/a> – and you really should live it when you can. \u00a0Clemson had played some of it’s basketball when Stitt was on their roster from 2007 to 2011. \u00a0Rest in Peace, Demontez Stitt!!<\/p>\n<p>Third, Whit Babcock, Virginia Tech Athletic Director, can do no wrong – he inked Buzz Williams, head men’s basketball coach, <a href=\"https:\/\/techlunchpail.com\/2016\/07\/13\/hokies-basketball-buzz-williams-gets-contract-extension-through-2022-2023-season\/\">to a contract extension<\/a>\u00a0(h\/t <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/techlunchpaild\">@TechLunchPailD<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>Fourth – and this ends our run today in the #ACC Blogosphere, Ethan Moore (<a href=\"http:\/\/Twitter.com\/_EthanMoore\">@_EthanMoore<\/a>)\u00a0of Louisville Sports Live asks if the ACC Atlantic Division is the best in college football – <a
