Time to appreciate what Virginia basketball can do on defense.

In the ACC’s basketball pre-season basketball poll, Virginia was predicted to finish 6th.  That’s not bad. If Virginia finishes 6th in the ACC, they’ll make the NCAA tournament. With the recent success of Virginia basketball, though that’s sounds like a little bit of a rebuilding year. The Hoos haven’t finished lower than 5th in the ACC …

The best College Football announcer ever…. Keith Jackson who passed away today.  Especially later in his career when he only covered West Coast games, I’d switch over to listen to Jackson call a few minutes of game even if I wasn’t that interested in the participants. He was the voice of college football Saturdays to me. …

ACC’s Heisman Chances look a little slim for 2018

If sportsbettingdime.com’s early 2018 Heisman Trophy odds are to be believed, next year won’t see the third ACC winner in the last six years. FSU’s Jameis Winston and Louisville’s Lamar Jackson won the award in 2013 and 2016, respectively, but heading into 2018, the top ACC candidate is Clemson’s senior QB, Kelly Bryant, at 25/1, …
