A Virginia victory over Virginia Tech would make UVa’s season magical.

As a fan, I’ve been there. Clemson losing 5 straight games to South Carolina from 2009-2013. Georgia Tech with multiple 5+ year losing streaks to Georgia. No matter how good the season went, something is always missing when you lose to your biggest rival. I’ve never experienced a rivalry losing streak like the one Virginia …

Georgia Tech continues second half surge with win over Virginia.

You know the story. 2 months Georgia Tech was 1-3, and Paul Johnson was feeling some heat. We mentioned this last week too. With one game left in the season the Yellow Jackets are 7-4 after beating a quality Virginia team 30-27 in OT. It was the best 2nd half turnaround in the ACC only …

Virginia right on schedule with improving QB Bryce Perkins

Virginia took a tough loss Saturday to Georgia Tech. It was a hard fought 30-27 OT loss to the surging Jackets. More often than not the season all it takes is one loss for a fanbase to turn on their coaches. Virginia fans are smart enough to realize the program is right on schedule under …

Ranking the Power 5 Football Conferences after Week 11 with Playoff Analysis

While the playoff committee doesn’t rank the power 5 conference, there is no way conference strength – which means OOC results doesn’t figure in to a committee members thought process. Georgia Tech is bowl eligible, and now looks toward bigger goals.

A 1-3 start had Paul Johnson’s seat getting warm. The Yellow Jackets were potentially looking at their 3rd season out of 4 without any post-season. I’m a Paul Johnson fan. I like him, and even I had to consider the possibility if Georgia Tech couldn’t reach a bowl game in a water downed ACC Coastal, …

3/4 Quarter of the season grades for each ACC football team.

Clemson : A+ Clemson is absolutely destroying everything in their path in recent weeks. They look as good as anyone in the country outside of Alabama. Frankly they look scary good. Syracuse : A+ Syracuse is ranked #13 in the NATION. Are you kidding me? Dino Babers has Syracuse 7-2 and primed to be 8-2 …
