Boston College is better than Miami so there’s that. Notre Dame and Duke are up next.

Notre Dame has lost 4 games in a row, but they might sneak up on you. They are getting healthy and hung with Duke as well as any ACC team so far this year. BC and Syracuse could be wins that start something.
15. California (8-8, 1-4) NET – 125, RPI – 172

Cal has wins over Virginia and Northwestern State. That’s it since November. The Bears are going nowhere and games at UNC and NC State this week.
14. Virginia Tech (7-9, 2-3) NET – 176, RPI – 188
Last Week: 17
Virginia Tech picked up a win at Cal this week. Could they upset NC State or Wake Forest at home?
13. Georgia Tech (8-9, 2-4) NET – 145, RPI – 236
Last Week: 12
For a moment we thought Georgia Tech had found something after a modest recent 3-game winning streak. That moment passed after losing to Syracuse and SMU last week. They face Clemson and FSU this week.
12. Virginia (8-8, 1-4) NET – 137, RPI – 95
Last Week: 11
Virginia is wondering if Tony Bennett might just come back. They’ve lost 3 in a row and all by double digits. SMU and Louisville are next.
11. Syracuse (8-8, 2-3) NET – 144, RPI – 136
Last Week: 16
Most of the second tier of ACC teams is awful. That’s why Syracuse can jumped 5 spots by winning both of their games. Louisville and Notre Dame are this week.
10. NC State (9-7, 2-3) NET – 108, RPI – 177
Last week: 10
NC State is running out of time to even sniff an at large bid. A Virginia Tech and Cal sweep would get things going in the right direction.
9. Florida State (11-5, 2-3) NET – 71, RPI – 65
Last Week: 8
Florida States just can’t get those quality wins they so desperately need. They must get Pitt and Georgia Tech at home this week.
8. Stanford (11-5, 3-2) NET – 79, RPI – 70
Last Week: 9
Stanford is close enough to the bubble, they can make a real move if they sweep at Wake Forest and at UNC. Even a split would be acceptable.
7. Wake Forest (12-4, 4-1) NET – 80, RPI- 57
Last week: 7
Wake Forest will get Q1 opportunities soon enough. Right now they just can’t lose to anyone they shouldn’t. That means they need to beat Stanford and win at Virginia Tech.

SMU’s lack of Q1 wins, gives them little margin for error. They can’t lose either game at Virginia or Miami.
5. UNC (11-6, 4-1) NET – 39, RPI – 18
Last Week: 6
UNC has started to figure out how to finish off close games. Now they just need to start playing a full 40 minutes. Cal and Stanford are in Chapel Hill this week.
4. Pittsburgh (12-4, 3-2) NET – 27, RPI – 24
Last Week: 2
Pittsburgh losing to Duke and Louisville this week, tells us where they are in the ACC pecking order. They need to regroup with a tricky game at FSU, and then they host Clemson. They better not get swept.
3. Clemson (13-4, 5-1) NET – 38, RPI – 31
Last Week: 3
There’s no shame in losing at Louisville, and Clemson took care of FSU. Now they go on the road to play a bad Georgia Tech team and a solid Pittsburgh one.
2. Louisville (12-5, 5-1) NET – 36, RPI – 12
Last Week: 4
Louisville is surging and Pat Kelsey is at the front of the ACC COY race. They aren’t sneaking up on anyone anymore. How will they handle being favorites over Syracuse and Virginia?
1. Duke (14-2, 6-0) NET – 2, RPI – 7
Last Week: 1
Duke got pushed a little bit by Notre Dame, but the Cooper Flagg went bananas scoring 42. It should be another 2-0 week with Miami and Boston College this week.
