This was supposed to be a foundational season for Brent Pry and Virginia Tech. It ended in a thud with a listless 24-10 loss to Minnesota. How did Virginia Tech fans react? Maybe there is hope…
A lot of talented transfers are coming along with a new OL coach, DC and strength and conditioning coach. Hope is not lost.

The 2024 Virginia Tech Hokies can’t hurt me anymore. https://t.co/rNGjBqHMj3 pic.twitter.com/wEpg5LCC4w

Guys, I don’t know what to tell you, other than that this game was just more confirmation that Brent Pry should not be Virginia Tech’s football coach. #Hokies

So tell me again how Bowen did enough to keep his job after this year? Horrendous playcalling all year. No rhythm or creativity.
6-7 in year 3 of the Brent Pry era. 🤦🏻♂️
I wonder what Marcus Freeman is doing in year 3? 🤔
It is truly hard to be a #Hokies fan.

I’m getting tired of feeling relief when another Virginia Tech season comes to an end. It used to be fun, everyone used to care. We were close enough every year to dream.
A fanbase can only take so much before full on apathy sets in. Fireworks and Metallica can’t be all we are.
