Georgia Tech fails to seize opportunity for program changing win.

Georgia Tech lost 44-42 in 8 OTs to Georgia, and you know what I take nothing from it. There are no moral victories. When you’ve been watching Georgia Tech as long as I have, I’ve seen plenty of close games between Georgia Tech and Georgia. Close losses don’t do anything for me.

So what… Heck even Kentucky played Georgia to a 1 point defeat earlier this year. A loss is a loss is a loss.

Sure there were bad calls, maybe you can even say they were game-deciding ones that went against Georgia Tech. The bottom line is up 27-13 with 5 minutes left, you have to seize the opportunity. Multiple possessions in OT to win the game, you have the seize the opportunity.

The officials won’t help you, Georgia won’t help you.

You have to make the plays and calls to win the game. Georgia finally did. Georgia Tech didn’t, and it’s just another loss in a program-defining game you should have won.
