Articles from @AllSportsDACC that can be used in the ACC, FSU, Clemson lawsuits.

We’re having an existential blog crisis.

@mckenzielaw astutely pointed out that a blog site called Big12Insider.com was cited in the FSU ACC lawsuit, and frankly, we’re jealous. I mean that’s clearly not an ACC site. What makes their analysis of the conference so much better than ours?

We’ve written many articles and have been ACC observers since 2011. We’ve had articles and podcasts written from fans, graduates, and media from every ACC school. We’ve had stories retweeted from sports media and picked up by major news outlets like USAToday.

&#@&$ it! S*#&$(@ M*$($*(#ER, SON of a &$^@($!  We’re not happy, and we’ve got something to say about it. We’ll  save ACC, Clemson, and FSU lawyers some research and billable hours – we’ll charge just half of their research teams for articles that are sometimes complimentary of the ACC and sometimes not.

Clemson and FSU lawyers here are some pieces you can cite. We’ll highlight some negative ACC articles here because we’re still lazy and don’t want to search through 11 years of blog articles.

Where’s Jim Phillip’s revenue plan?

John Swofford’s Legacy – Actually this could be used by any of the legal teams because we highlight some of the positives and negatives of his tenure. Clemson and FSU can hit hard the negatives.

We already called it the Big 2 as far back as 2016.

We warned the ACC back in 2014 not to fall too far behind the revenue game – well they did.

In the spirit of fairness here are some pieces the ACC’s legal folks can use:

ACC is still the best conference in March

The ACC goes 11-9 against SEC and Big 10 football just this past year.

The ACC is arguably the best athletic conference in the country in the collectively biggest revenue sports and has been for years.

A similar piece from 2019

John Swofford’s Legacy – Actually this could be used by any of the legal teams because we highlight some of the positives and negatives of his tenure. The ACC can focus on the positives

If blog sites are fair game in this legal battle, why can’t it be us?

What if I personally get asked to testify? Do I have conflicting interests because I went to schools at Clemson who’s suing the ACC or at Georgia Tech who is part of the countersuing? Will my TV viewing and online habits be called into question if it’s discovered I read more about one school or the other? What about my podcast partner ASD_Hokiesmash?  Virginia Tech was part of the initial Magnificent 7 after all.

So many questions, so few answers – but we just want to get cited in a legal proceeding because that would be F&$(!*G# rock!

Why should these other sites have all the fun?
