The ACC Network finally became a channel not just “about” the ACC but “for” the ACC.

The FSU playoff snub while met with shock, bewilderment, and criticism of a playoff committee that lost credibility in most circles, on ESPN their media personalities ripped FSU at every opportunity, some laughed at their exclusion, and many others clearly went against the very nature of what sports is. Some even alluded that FSU never had a chance to get in.

Booger McFarland you’re good. Everyone knows you were the rare voice of reason.

Now the ACC Network is owned by ESPN. I do watch it, but usually it felt like a channel that was more “about” the ACC than “for” the ACC. The past few days that changed. Maybe the ACC Network Media personalities will all be suspended, but for 48-72 hours there was much-needed outrage at the playoff selection.

From below on ACC Huddle which is one of the network’s most improved shows…

to the All-ACC show with David Hale and Andrea Adelson who cover the ACC for ESPN

To Mark Packer and Taylor Tannebaum and their show ACC-PM.

One question where is ACC Commissioner Jim Philips? He put out a little statement Sunday and has been MIA since. He does realize he can go on this very network, and blast just about whomever he wants. As usual, he just doesn’t get this aspect of his job.

You have a network so use it.

These ACC Media personalities did really let loose on the debacle of the playoff selection, and I applaud them.
