If you are as confused by Georgia Tech as I am, you aren’t alone. Georgia Tech under Brent Key has become the most confounding team in the ACC maybe even the country. One week they are winning games as a double-digit underdog, the next week they are losing games they should be winning.
Saturday they again pulled off another improbable upset being North Carolina 46-42 in a game they trailed by double digits 4 times.
Most impressive stat of the night to me: @GeorgiaTechFB overcame *4* different double-digit deficits.
✔️ 14-0
✔️ 21-7
✔️ 35-24
✔️ 42-32You rarely ever see that in a game. Unbelievable show of resilience by the Jackets tonight.

Remember what Key took over from Geoff Collins who went 10-28 (7-19) in 3 1/2 seasons with 1 win over a ranked team.
Brent Key in 16 games at Georgia Tech already has 4 wins over ranked teams.
So who is Georgia Tech under Brent Key?
Key inherited a team that lost a lot, lost big, and almost always looked poorly coached.
He had quite the mess to undo, and as a first-time head coach Key is learning on the job too. Georgia Tech had certainly turned into a program with a culture of losing. That’s not an easy thing to overturn.
Despite some frustrating defeats like a double-digit loss to Bowling Greene, what is unmistakable is that Key has shown what is possible at Georgia Tech.
That’s huge, and something you can sell to recruits and transfers. If you can sell hope with real tangible results, you have a chance to truly turn things around even with some ugly results mixed in.
That is who Georgia Tech is under Key. It’s a rebuilding program that finally can sell some hope.
