Good afternoon, Atlantic Coast Conference sports fans. I hope your summer is going well.
I’m wondering if Jim Phillips or anyone at the ACC has a strategic plan (or at minimum) communication strategy for the future? I posited about that in this twitter thread below:
Planning tools. You can see that dissertation here —> https://t.co/QP00PJGVsX. It is long past time for the University presidents to ask whether there own conference performs strategic planning. #Hokies 2/

4/ There seems to be complete radio silence on strategic planning or communication (or both) and Jim Phillips really needs to provide that vision for the future. Thanks for listening to my rant. /End of Thread

We might actually have to send out a search party for the strategic plan or communication strategy. Seriously, to compete in this new world of college athletics and realignment, you must have a strategic, forward thinking plan (The Big 10 and the Big 12 are making moves – and you would like to think the ACC could make some, but you need a strategic plan and direction for that). You do not have to reveal confidential details – but you should communicate where you are going and what your future looks like. And Jim Phillips has failed here – this is on him.
