ESPN had a massive layoff of some of their top talent.
From an ACC Perspective, Jorden Cornette was the biggest name as he worked on the ACC Network, and did a rock-solid job.
He’ll be missed.
For me, Suzy Kolber is a big loss. She’s been great for years, and I thought she was excellent as the host of Monday Night Football. David Pollack was an SEC Homer on Gameday, but at least he was interesting and insightful.
Todd McShay had become better as a draft analyst than what’s become of Mel Kiper, and I think that’s a big loss too.
These are just a few of the big names let go by ESPN on a truly dark day for the network.
ESPN laid off nearly 20 on-air personalities today, including several network veterans.
