When college football kicks off in less than 100 days the Miami Hurricanes under second-year head coach Mario Cristobal will have much higher expectations than in his first season.
Miami has a pretty easy non-conference schedule which should really give them the edge heading into conference play on October 7 versus Georgia Tech. The Canes will have some tough games lined up against North Carolina, Clemson, and Florida State, but most of their conference opponents should be feasible.
The full schedule and prediction can be found here.
It’s been a long time since Miami has been a relevant staple not only in the ACC but in the college football spectrum.
Tyler Van Dyke will also be back behind center after what seemed to be false rumors that he was leaving the program for a potential SEC school. With those rumors being flawed, Van Dyke should have a clearer vision of the offense. That should translate to more winning this year.
FACT: Miami will be a surprise team in the ACC in 2023. Sure, there are questions from the outside and other programs fanbases that say Miami won’t even win close to eight games. Miami will surprise this year. And truthfully it’s better for college football when Miami is good.
