The NCAA Tournament was unpredictable, but @AllSportsDACC saw some of it coming.

Ok the NCAA tournament was wildly unpredictable, but should we have seen some of it coming? Well actually we did between at @ASD_Hokiesmash and myself @TalkinACCSports at @AllSportsDACC.

We’ve talked about some of these before recently, but let’s go through where we hit the mark.

A Final Four without the #1 seeds? We thought it could happen.

Oh, I got questioned about forgetting Alabama and pointed they had been vulnerable to quality teams.

What about the Miami run?

Well, we said this before the tournament started.

Miami can go a long way in the NCAA Tournament, but it all depends on Norchad Omier’s ankle. Houston, Indiana, etc are in their end of the bracket. Miami can play with and beat any of them. Texas has been shaky on the road most of the year but was great in the Big 12 tournament. I can see Miami getting by them too Miami has been just a bit too prone to inexplicable performances like losing to Georgia Tech on the road and blowing a 20+ point lead at home to Florida State to win 6 straight.

Omier’s ankle was in pretty good shape, and that played out as we thought that was possible, even playing Texas in the Elite 8, but not quite good enough to go all the way.

Here are some others from @ASD_Hokiesmash. This was before the rest of the tournament bracket went haywire. Yea UCONN best team – I’d say that’s true.

Should we be surprised San Diego State is having such a great tournament? Not if you follow us, as @ASD_Hokiesmash said to keep an eye on the Aztecs even before the first weekend of the NCAA tournament ended.

Sure the tournament had some crazy results, but some of the surprising results maybe weren’t so surprising.
