It was not the way the season was supposed to end for Virginia.
13. Virginia Tech (3-8)
Last Week: 14
Virginia Tech’s win over Liberty didn’t gain as much attention as it should. Virginia Tech did what Arkansas couldn’t do on their home field and that is beat Liberty.
12. Boston College (3-8)
Last Week: 11
Can Boston College send Syracuse to their 6th straight loss?
11. Miami (5-6)
Last Week: 10
Miami was no match for Clemson and needs a win over Pittsburgh to make a bowl game.
10. Syracuse (6-5)
Last week: 9
Syracuse being ranked in the top 15 seems like a lifetime ago.
9. Georgia Tech (5-6)
Last Week : 12
Where did Georgia Tech come up with one of the best defensive performances on the season in beating North Carolina? Georgia is too big a task, but they’ve had nice moments post Collins.
8. NC State (7-4)
Last Week: 6
NC State just can’t figure out this offense thing, and now face a UNC team ready to rebound.
7. Pitt (7-4)
Last week: 8
Despite all the ups and downs, Pitt could have a 8 win regular season if they beat Miami this week.
6. Wake Forest (7-4)
Last Week: 6
Wake Forest really needed the win over Syracuse. The game with Duke is very intriguing.
5. Duke (7-4)
Last Week: 5
Duke’s season even with the loss to Pittsburgh has been remarkable.
4. Louisville (7-4)
Last Week: 4
Louisville has looked like a top 25 team much of the 2nd half of the season. The playoff committee thinks so to. If they beat Kentucky they will really have momentum going.
3. North Carolina (9-2)
Last Week: 2
I don’t know what happened against Georgia Tech, but it cost UNC any shot at the playoffs, Mack Brown winning ACC COY, and Drake Maye winning the Heisman.
2. Florida State (8-3)
Last Week: 3
Nobody wants any part of Florida State right now including Florida this week.
1. Clemson (10-1)
Last Week: 1
Clemson looked like a playoff team for the first 30 minutes against Miami even in a 40-10 win. They still can’t put together a full game. If they are off against South Carolina it will cost them.
