ACC Power Rankings after Week 0

ACC Team of the Week : Florida State – for a 47-7 win Duquesne

14. Duke (0-0)

Last Week: —

Temple is really bad, and if Duke loses to them – Yikes the Blue Devils could be worse than we thought, and we think they are pretty bad.

13. Georgia Tech (0-0)

Last Week : —

Hopes are low at Georgia Tech, but a competitive performance on Labor Day against Clemson could help.

12. Syracuse (0-0)

Last week: —

Syracuse could open some eyes if they knock off Louisville.

11. North Carolina (1-0)

Last Week: —

QB Drake Maye looked great in the open against FAMU. The defense not so much.

10. Virginia Tech (0-0)

Last Week: —

Let’s see how Brent Pry does in his debut at Old Dominion.

9. Boston College (0-0)

Last Week: —

Rutgers is a decent opening test for Boston College.

8. Virginia  (0-0)

Last Week: —

Brennan Armstrong and the offense will be fine, but will the defense be improved?

7. Florida State (1-0)

Last Week: —

Ok the Noles looked good against Duquesne. Now let’s try it against LSU.

6. Louisville (0-0)

Last Week: —

Scott Satterfield is right back on the hotseat if Louisville loses at Syracuse.

5. Wake Forest (0-0)

Last Week: —

How will the Wake Forest offense look with Sam Hartman out?

4. Miami (0-0)

Last Week: —

Bethune-Cookman allows Miami to ease into the season.

3. Pitt (0-0)

Last week: —

It’s National TV and Gameday for Pittsburgh against West Virginia. Don’t blow it Panthers.

2. NC State (0-0)

Last Week: —

If NC State is as good as I think they are, they will blow away East Carolina.

1. Clemson (0-0)

Last Week: —

I’m putting Clemson at #1 to open the season based on what I think will be one the country’s best defenses. If their offense resembles last season, I might drop them.
