Mostly 2022 Post-Spring ACC Football Power Rankings

14. Duke

Duke doesn’t have much talent, but they do have a new coach.

13. Georgia Tech

Georgia Tech doesn’t have much talent, a lot of it transferred, and they wish they had a new coach.

12. Syracuse

Dino Babers flirted with the hot seat but returns. Look at it this way, Syracuse is closer to the middle of the pack than Georgia Tech.

11. North Carolina

One of the ACC’s most disappointing teams from 2022 will have a new QB, but at least WR Josh Downs is back.

10. Virginia Tech

Brent Pry is winning the off-season with Virginia Tech fans, but there are too many questions right now to have them much higher.

9. Louisville

Can Louisville start using some of their recruiting class for this year? They are currently burning up the recruiting trail. The talented Malik Cunningham is back at QB.

8. Florida State

Florida State is a bit of a wildcard. This is unquestionably Jordan Travis’s team.

7. Virginia

Tony Elliot starts his Virginia tenure with some major offensive talent. It’s the defense that needs help. They are the only remaining ACC team that hasn’t played their Spring Game.

6. Boston College

I like what Boston College is bringing back, especially on offense.

5. Miami

Taylor Van Dyke could be the ACC’s next great QB. Oh and Miami put together an impressive staff during the off-season.

4. Wake Forest

Nothing against Wake Forest, they have Sam Hartman at QB, but I think Pitt, NC State, and Clemson are considerably ahead of them defensively.

3. Pittsburgh

USC QB Kedon Slovis might be the best newcomer in the ACC. This team returns a ton, could be a 10-win team again.

2. NC State

Don’t sleep on NC State. This is an extremely talented and experienced team. Devin Leary looked great in the Spring Game, and the linebackers might be the country’s best.

1. Clemson

Clemson is so loaded on defense, that it could rival the legendary 2018 group. The QB position will be the difference between a  top 15 team, and one that is playoff-caliber.
