We’ve seen since the launch of the ACC Network in the fall of 2019, that sometimes the network hits the mark with its programming, and sometimes it doesn’t. A 10 part series covering the history of the ACC Tournament was a hit.
As we said in January the poorly received documentary on Notre Dame’s football year in the ACC fell flat with ACC fans.
Live sports have been frustrating as ACC live events are still ending up on regional sports networks.
One of the low points of the ACC Network was during the CWS of last year.
Changes channel to @accnetwork for some post-game coverage of NC State\Vandy, and there is a Syracuse\Georgetown basketball game on from 1985.
I guess I’ll watch the @SECNetwork who is actually talking about the baseball game.

That was absolutely unacceptable.
The ACC Network has redeemed itself with what they’ve set up for the men’s and women’s Final Four which has 3 ACC teams participating. Duke and North Carolina have made it for the men, and Louisville made it for the women.
Beginning Thursday, @accnetwork presents expansive coverage of 2022 #MFinalFour & #WFinalFour
🏀 Nearly 20 hours of live coverage from Minneapolis, Minn. & New Orleans, La.

Now, this is why you have a conference network, for extended coverage of conference teams.
This is especially true when ACC member schools are in the Final Four.
The ACC Network doesn’t always hit the mark, but they certainly did in this case.
