Good afternoon, Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) sports fans.
Yes, I was wrong. I will call myself out.
First, let’s talk about the fact that I thought Virginia Tech would host a National Invitational Tournament (NIT) tournament game. I was wrong:

Second, I actively questioned Virginia Tech’s guard play.
I questioned whether Virginia Tech had the guards to play in the ACC.
Storm Murphy and Hunter Cattoor arguably played their best minutes of the season in February and March – and they will be forces to reckon with in the NCAA tournament. It’s true that Mike Young’s guard rotation improved as soon as the new year began, also, with increased minutes for Darius Maddox and Sean Pedulla. But, I can’t understate that Murphy and Cattoor played their best minutes of the season in February and March.
I’m glad I was wrong – and you have to admit when you are wrong.
