I didn’t have the chance to post on Virginia’s big win at Duke until today. Virginia was so far off the NCAA radar 10 days ago, they weren’t even mentioned in the same sentence as the bubble. Then just like Dabo Swinney and Clemson football last year, you can’t keep good coaches down for long. They almost always find a way to get better. Swinney guided Clemson to another 10 win season, after a 4-3 start. Tony Bennett and Virginia sat 12-9 barely a week ago and nowhere near the bubble.
After the gigantic win at Duke, that few saw coming, the Hoos have moved 15-9 and can now see the bubble.
The NCAA’s are again a realistic goal.
How did Virginia twitter react to the big Monday win?

Wow. What an effort by UVA. You can never count out a Tony Bennett-coached team.

UVA had a turnover advantage of 15-5 over Duke that translated to 20 to 2 in points. Unranked & we showed our “arse”inside Cameron Indoor. Sorry Ferret, it was Tony’s time!!! #Wahoowa 🔶⚔️🔷
