Good evening, Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) sports fans.
I have been very critical of Virginia Tech Men’s Basketball guard play. I’ve mentioned that Virginia Tech needs 6’4″ – 6’6″ guards to be competitive in the ACC.
Here my thoughts on Virginia Tech’s win over Florida State today – a nice tweet cap:
2/ I have been very consistent all year in saying that I thought Pedulla and Maddox deserved more minutes than they were getting – they are bigger and stronger players than Storm Murphy (who plays hard – but has physical size limitations). Shout out to Mike Young. #Hokies

4/ At times, you wish that this move on minutes for Pedulla and Maddox was made much sooner in the season =- many fans feel that way. I will also call myself out – I thought FSU would be easy money (no gambler here) thing at -2.5 – and I will call myself when I’m wrong. #Hokies

6/ I will go step further – and say I hope Mike Young always gives minutes to the best players he has on the roster. If that means that Rodney Rice and MJ Collins are his best players next year, by all means, make it happen. But Mike Young deserves credit for today. /end #Hokies

Hopefully, Virginia Tech fans continue seeing Sean Pedulla and Darius Maddox on the court – and more frequently.
