BC didn’t play this week so they remain at 14th in these rankings.
13. Georgia Tech (6-5, 0-1) NET Ranking —
Last Week : 12
Georgia Tech was listless in getting thumped by USC. They look worse each time out. They did survive Georgia State in OT, which could have totally derailed their season.
12. NC State (7-5, 0-1) NET Ranking —
Last Week: 5
NC State followed up blowing their game to Purdue by losing to Richmond and Wright State… at home.
11. Florida State (6-4, 0-1) NET Ranking —
Last Week: 12
Beating Lipscomb doesn’t really tell you much about Florida State.
10. Clemson (8-4, 0-1) NET Ranking —
Last Week: 11
Don’t sleep on this Clemson team. They have some ability to shoot from the perimeter.
9. Virginia (7-4, 1-0) NET Ranking —
Last Week: 9
Can Virginia be an NCAA team? I really have no idea at this point, but I know they’ll play defense.
8. Notre Dame (5-5, 0-1) NET Ranking —
Last Week: 6
The Kentucky still resonates, but the Irish couldn’t follow it up when they played and lost to Indiana.
7. Louisville (7-4, 1-0) NET Ranking —
Last Week: 4
Losing to Western Kentucky at home is not a good look for Chris Mack.
6. Syracuse (5-5, 1-0) NET Ranking —
Last Week: 8
I moved Syracuse up 2 spots after they lost twice this weekend by default. Who should I put ahead that’s behind them?
5. Miami (9-3, 1-0) NET Ranking —
Last week: 7
Miami has won 5 games in a row. They might have a little something this year .
4. Virginia Tech (8-4, 0-1) NET Ranking —
Last Week: 10
Virginia Tech trounced a pretty good St. Bonaventure team. The Hokies can be a legit NCAA team.
3. North Carolina (9-3, 1-0) NET Ranking —
Last Week: 2
From game to game you have no clue what North Carolina will show up. They looked awful getting trounced by Kentucky.
2. Wake Forest (11-1, 1-0) NET Ranking —
Last week: 3
Wake Forest is just finding ways to to win. That’s all that matters, and puts them ahead of everyone in the ACC outside of Duke.
1. Duke (10-1, 0-0) NET Ranking —
Last Week: 1
Duke is the ACC’s only NCAA Tournament lock right now.
