ACC Power Rankings after Week 13

ACC Team of the Week : NC State – for a 34 – 30 comeback win over North Carolina

14. Duke (3-9)

Last Week: 14

Duke lost every single ACC game they played this year, and that’s why David Cutcliffe won’t be back.

13. Georgia Tech (3-9)

Last Week : 13

In Georgia Tech’s last 9 quarters of the season they got outscored 113-6. Geoff Collins was lucky he wasn’t canned. Several of assistants weren’t so lucky. Star Jahmyr Gibbs is moving on too. Next year feels like lame duck season for Collins.

12. Syracuse (5-7)

Last week: 11

Syracuse improved from last year, but Dino Babers needs a big season in 2022. Assistants were let go here too.

11. North Carolina (6-6)

Last Week: 10

How did North Carolina blow that game to NC State? That’s why they are 6-6. What a disappointing season for UNC.

10. Boston College (6-6)

Last Week: 9

Boston College’s flu bug didn’t help against Wake Forest, but they will bowling.

9. Virginia  (6-6)

Last Week: 6

Maybe there is just a tiny bit of heat on Bronco Mendenall? Just add another loss to Virginia.

8. Virginia Tech (6-6)

Last Week: 12

Virginia Tech beating Virginia is a Holiday Tradition. JC Price’s post-game interview left a tear in every Hokie fans eye.

7. Louisville (6-6)

Last Week: 5

I don’t know what to say about that mess of a performance against Kentucky.

6. Florida State (5-7)

Last Week: 7

Special Teams cost Florida State a chance at a big win against Florida. It also cost them a bowl game.

5. Miami (7-5)

Last Week: 8

Other than the loss to FSU, Miami played some good football in the 2nd half of the season. Manny Diaz will be returning.

4. Wake Forest (10-2)

Last Week: 1

If Wake Forest beats Pittsburgh for the ACC Championship they’ll leap to number 1 on this list.

3. Clemson (9-3)

Last Week: 4

Clemson rolled South Carolina 30-0. They started the season in the top 10, and in November they finally played like it.

2. NC State (9-3)

Last Week: 3

The Wolfpack’s final 2 minute comeback against UNC will go down in history.

1. Pitt (10-2)

Last week: 2

Pat Narduzzi could land Pitt with their first ACC title against Wake Forest. This is going to be a fun game.
