ACC Power Rankings after Week 12

ACC Team of the Week : Clemson – for a 48 – 27 win over Wake Forest.

14. Duke (3-8)

Last Week: 14

Is Duke even trying at this point? After Miami thumps them, they will have a winless season in the ACC.

13. Georgia Tech (3-8)

Last Week : 13

Georgia Tech is falling apart. Georgia will break them in half.

12. Virginia Tech (5-6)

Last Week: 12

Virginia Tech’s secondary got shredded by Miami. What is Virginia’s Brennan Armstrong going to do to it?

11. Syracuse (5-6)

Last week: 11

Syracuse is finishing the season with a whimper. Pitt is not the team to play when you are struggling.

10. North Carolina (6-5)

Last Week: 10

North Carolina can salvage something out of a lost season with a win over NC State.

9. Boston College (6-5)

Last Week: 9

Boston College can deny Wake Forest an ACC Atlantic Division title with a win, but the flu bug has it hit the team.

8. Miami (6-5)

Last Week: 8

If Miami loses to Duke, the earth might cave in.

7. Florida State (5-6)

Last Week: 7

Florida State is the ACC’s most improved team in the 2nd half of the season.

6. Virginia  (6-5)

Last Week: 5

There are two Virginia teams. The one with Brennan Armstrong is major headache. The one without is a pretty mediocre team.

5. Louisville (6-5)

Last Week: 8

Louisville is kind of here by default, but would prove something by beating Kentucky.

4. Wake Forest (9-2)

Last Week: 1

Is it fair to drop Wake Forest this far? They really did look outclassed at Clemson. Beat BC though, and they are headed to Charlotte.

3. Clemson (8-3)

Last Week: 4

Clemson played their best game of the year against Wake Forest and looked like a top 10 team doing it. Can they validate it by beating South Carolina?

2. NC State (8-3)

Last Week: 3

The Wolfpack have to beat the Tar Heels, and then become big Boston College fans in order to represent the Atlantic Division in the ACC Title game.

1. Pitt (9-2)

Last week: 2

Pittsburgh just needs to beat reeling Syracuse to have a 10 win season.
