Geoff Collins calling out @ksugiuraajc and @Kelly_Quinlan proves he’s out of touch.

Following a 33-30 loss to Miami, Georgia Tech dropped to 9-22 under Geoff Collins in a another bowless season. Georgia Tech fell to 1-5 in single digit games in 2021. Clearly something is wrong with a program that simply finds ways to lose games late.

Rather than address the deteriorating situation, Collins felt the need to call out @ksugiuraajc and @Kelly_Quinlan for negativity in his post-game comments. It’s a clear sign Collins has lost touch with reality, and that’s a major concern.

These are two of the better media members out there covering Georgia Tech.

Sorry coach, close games aren’t progress. Consistently losing close games is a sign that when games are tightest and coaching can make a difference between winning and losing, you coach Collins are not getting it done. Calling out media members is a bad look, and petty.

Collins can speak about what’s happening in the locker room, and site as many catch phrases as he can think of.

The fact remains he’s lost the most of the fanbase. If he’s worried about what a couple of media members are saying, I hope he’s staying off twitter, and any Georgia Tech message boards. There, if fans aren’t calling for his head, they are screaming for staff changes.

He appears to still have the ear of his team, and recruits, but is it only a matter of time before he loses them too?

You can only sell hope for so long. If the results aren’t there, then you have a problem.

Geoff Collins has a big problem.
