Clemson isn’t going to the playoffs, and they aren’t a top 10 team. They are a program with a winning DNA, and they’ve found ways to win a number of close games. If you aren’t paying attention, they are starting to get better and may be able to finish the season on high note.
A goalline stand against Louisville kept alive hopes for a top 25 season and an outside chance at the ACC Atlantic Division.
How did Clemson Twitter react?
Ya’ll our team fights! With all they have had happen this year with breaks and injuries they have hung together and they don’t quit. Really proud of this victory tonight and for what it shows for the future of this team. #GoTigers

Gutsy effort by @ClemsonFB This season is what it is but you can’t question the 🧡 of these guys. Another stand for Venables’ crew to end a game. Flashbacks of Jayron Kearse running the receiver down in 2014 and the stand to end that game.

Gritty win. Kudos to DJ who had the best game of his season and pushed through. Kudos to the defense for having the guts to go and win it. Kudos to Will Shipley for grinding it out.
It was ugly. It was frustrating. But it was a win.
