Wake Forest 6-0 (4-0) : A+
Wake Forest week and week out has been the ACC’s more consistent team. How far can this run go?
The backend of the schedule has NC State, Clemson, and a game at Boston College. The Deacs will have to earn that ACC Atlantic Title, but it is possible.
Predicted Finish – 10-2 (6-2)
NC State 5-1 (4-0) : A-
I don’t know what happened at Mississippi State, but other than that NC State has been rock solid. Knocking off Clemson, even a down Clemson team is a huge.
I think this team can get to Charlotte, and I’m predicting they will.
Predicted Finish – 10-2 (7-1)
Boston College (4-2) (0-2) : B-
Boston College’s two losses are to NC State and Clemson. Jeff Hafley has kept them afloat even with the loss of QB Phil Jurkovec.
They won’t win the ACC Atlantic, but they’ll make a bowl game.
Predicted Finish – 7-5 (3-5)
Syracuse 3-4 (0-3) : C+
Syracuse is a definitely improved from the 2020 version, but they can’t close out games. They are 19 points from being undefeated.
You wait they are going to spoil somebody’s season.
Predicted Finish – 4-8 (1-7)
Louisville 3-3 (1-2) : C
Louisville should be 5-1, but a 3 point loss to Wake Forest and 1 point loss to Virginia have them at .500. Scott Satterfield needs to have a good finish, because Louisville fans are losing faith in him.
The 2nd half of the season is pretty brutal, but they can still reach a bowl game.
Predicted Finish – 6-6 (4-4)
Florida State 2-4 (2-2) : D
Florida State was staring at an F four games into the season, but they’ve managed to win a couple of game games in a row since then. That has given FSU fans at least a bit of hope.
It’s a brutal finish, but it could have been far worse.
Predicted Finish – 4-8 (3-5)
Clemson 4-2 (3-1) : D
Clemson is measured on a different scale than the rest of the ACC. This is Clemson’s worst team since at least 2014, and the offense continues to be a total mess.
They aren’t done losing this year either. Can Dabo Swinney just go ahead and take advantage of the transfer portal?
Predicted Finish – 8-4 (5-3)
