Ok you can say UNC was overrated. They were, but you can’t take away from the performance of the Virginia Tech Hokies. That was a still a future NFL quarterback in Sam Howell they were facing with an experienced offensive line coming back. The Hokies man-handled that unit upfront, and defensively played a game that reminded Hokie fans of Bud Foster’s defenses.
It’s too early to say this is a season defining win, but suddenly the Hokies could be 4-0 before hosting Notre Dame. Only a decent test at West Virginia stands in the way. How did Virginia Tech twitter react to the Hokies biggest win in years?
