Good afternoon, Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) sports fans.
You know college football is ready to begin when Brett Ciancia (@PickSixPreviews) releases his annual digital college football preview guide.
Here is one review of his 2021 college football preview guide:
HUGE review from 247Sports @LateKickJosh, on my 2021 Season Preview book:
“Deeper, more analytical dive and unique angles. More meat on the bones for each team, compared to typical preseason magazines”
“Really good product”

We agree – it’s a must buy. Brett is one of the absolute best analytical college football researchers out there today. We reviewed his 2019 college football preview guide here, which gives you a very good picture of what’s in it.
You can buy his new 2021 college football preview guide here. Here’s what’s different from 2019 (the cost is $18):
- Since his 2019 book, Brett was selected as a Heisman voter and was dded to the 12-man committee that selects the All-America teams.
- In accordance with the Power 5 predictions (Stassen Accuracy Ratings), he extended his college football preview prediction accuracy title for 9 years.
- He added a Coaching Carousel grader. Specifically, he looks back to the 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 carousels, and ascertains who made the best net impact (performance vs. the 4-year average prior to taking over as coach).
- He added offensive/defensive percentiles, which covers every team over the last five years. This grades an offense/defense and adjusts for opponent strength (in the context of what their opponents’ averages). Essentially, it’s a 10-year graphic that grades the coordinators.
- And starting with 2020 and now 2021, Brett made about 50 calls with head coaches and coordinators. His interviews cover their specific branding, recruiting strategy, offensive/defensive schemes, position groups, etc.
Brett is still a one-man show on this awesome college football preview guide. It’s a hell of a lot of work – lots of film review – lots of analysis – lots of data – and lots of interviewing. Buy this digital book.
