One of the things I have liked about the ACC Network, as opposed to their dismal ACC Baseball coverage, is the addition of more prime time football games.
Georgia Tech vs NIU is at 730 PM on the ACC Network.
Florida State vs Jacksonville State is at 8 PM on the ACC Network
Virginia vs UNC is at 730 on the ACC Network
The first two in particular would have been nooners in past years.
During the 2nd week, with 4 ACC games on the ACC Network at 11, 2, 5, and 8. Yea that’s not going work. When was the last time a football game finished inside 3 hours, especially four of them? I don’t follow the reasoning, but I’m not sure you do can much else, but I hope that doesn’t become common practice. 11 AM starts are dreadful, and missing the first 30 minutes of games isn’t going to sit well with fans.
I did like the spread out nature of game times for most of the ACC. Only Pitt and Boston College playing more than one noon game.
It’s come a long way since schedules like this… from back in 2018 – 4 Noonish games, 3 3:30 games, and just 1 night game.
