The @accnetwork totally misses the mark on ACC Baseball coverage.

With the pause last year due to COVID, we never saw the ACC Network coverage of spring sports. As spring sports got going due to an improved pandemic situation ( thankfully! ), we are glad to be watching sports.

There’s one problem. If you are fan of ACC Baseball, and want to watch to it – well good luck. Most fans expected wall to wall coverage of one of the marquee ACC events to be on the ACC Network, but instead a bizarre combination of Bally Sports regional sports, ACC Network Extra were where to find the games.

The ACC Network televised 2 month old spring games, and track and field championships from weeks ago.

Guess what’s on the SEC Network? SEC BASEBALL during the SEC BASEBALL TOURNAMENT.

For a little more explanation of the Regional Sports Networks agreement and ACC – Check out this article at ACCPrescription.

I guess we’re stuck with this format for awhile, but we don’t have to like it.

Here’s a sampling of ACC fans who weren’t happy, and I can’t blame them. I was looking for the games on the ACC Network as well. How about a day’s recap with NCAA implications? Anything? Bueller Bueller? Anyone home?

The ACC Network, the ACC, and ESPN totally missed the mark on this one.
