It’s been awhile since we’ve posted on anything golf related, but what Phil Mickelson just did something we’ve never seen in the history of golf.
A 50+ year old player just won a major championship. He stared down one of the best golfers in world in Brooks Koepka to take the the title, against the toughest field in golf.
Just an incredible moment in sports. With Tom Brady winning a Super Bowl at 43, your 40s and early 50s are the new 27.
I’ll also remember early in the round after Mickelson took the lead, he acknowledged and gave a ball to a special needs person in a wheel chair. It was only on the TV for a few seconds, but him taking the time to do that in such a high pressure tournament was part of what makes Phil Mickelson great.
It’s Mickelson’s moment.🏆
