Remember nearly 11 months ago we were writing nervous articles about how we may or may not have a college football season.
Well we had one. It was certainly better than nothing, but mostly empty stadiums, cancelled or post-poned games, and makeshift schedules made for a shell of season of what college football usually is.
Good news is on the way. Vaccinations are working. COVID cases are at their lowest point nationally since September of last year, and cases are continuing to decline.
Now Georgia Tech and Florida State have announced plans for 100% capacity at their football games this year.
Fingers Crossed, that this will be reality. I’m optimistic.
Georgia Tech has confirmed that it will permit 100% capacity for football games this fall, as well as on-campus tailgating, according to athletic department news release. On-campus tailgating also.
