Wake Forest seems to have run out of gas. Playing Clemson and Virginia Tech won’t help

FSU and Clemson this week for Miami… that’s not good for the shorthanded Canes.
12. Pittsburgh (9-9, 5-8) NET Ranking 84
Last Week: 11
Pitt has lost 7 of their last 9 games. Their wins are Duke and Virginia Tech… strange. They play NC State this week.
11. Notre Dame (9-12, 6-9) NET Ranking 66
Last Week: 10
Notre Dame isn’t terrible, but they just keep blowing leads. BC is a good chance at a win.
10. NC State (10-9, 6-8) NET Ranking 80
Last Week: 12
NC State is playing better, but it’s a matter of too little too late. Angry Virginia awaits Wednesday. Pitt is Sunday.
9. Syracuse (13-7, 7-6) NET Ranking 54
Last Week: 7
Syracuse has 13 wins, but only the Virginia Tech win has any substance. Lose to Georgia Tech Saturday, and it’s the NIT.
8. Louisville (12-5, 7-4) NET Ranking 53
Last Week: 4
Louisville has a huge game with Duke this Saturday. They beat Notre Dame Tuesday, but they have NCAA work to do.
7. Georgia Tech (12-8, 8-6) NET Ranking 49
Last Week : 9
Georgia Tech is making their NCAA case with three wins in a row including road blow-out wins of Miami and Virginia Tech. They can’t undo their hardwork with a slip up against Syracuse.
6. Duke (11-8, 9-6) NET Ranking 47
Last Week: 8
Here come the Dukies. The win over UVa may have jump started the season. They can’t slip up against Louisville.
5. North Carolina (14-7, 8-5) NET Ranking 33
Last Week: 6
UNC is playing well, but still lack any real resume wins. FSU Saturday gives them a chance at one.
4. Clemson (13-5, 7-5) NET Ranking 39
Last Week: 5
You have to love Clemson’s resume. They should take care of Wake Forest and Miami to lock up their NCAA bid. Actually they just need to win one more game.
3. Virginia Tech (14-5, 8-4) NET Ranking 36
Last Week: 3
Virginia Tech is teetering. Yes the Georgia Tech loss was after a pause, but before that they lost to Pitt and should have lost at Miami. They better get right against Wake Forest.
2. Virginia (15-5, 11-3) NET Ranking 9
Last Week: 2
Virginia is a good team, but with obvious ceiling. Losses to FSU and Duke proved that this past week. NC State is this week.
1. Florida State (13-3, 9-2) NET Ranking 12
Last Week: 1
Florida State looks like the ACC’s best team by a really wide margin. Road games Miami and UNC are this week.
