ACC Football Power Rankings after Week 15

#StayHealthy and practice social distancing.

ACC Team of the Week : North Carolina  – for their 62-26  win over Miami

15. Duke (2-9)

Last week: 15

How bad is Duke? They lost to Florida State by 3 TDs – FLORIDA STATE. 2020 Duke was the worst Blue Devils team under David Cutcliffe.

14. Syracuse (1-10)

Last Week : 14

Dino Babers maybe be on the hotseat when 2021 begins.

13. Florida State (3-6)

Last Week: 13

Florida State showed some actual life against Duke. The Wake Forest game was cancelled, and thus ends a rough first season for Mike Norvell.

12. Georgia Tech (3-7)

Last Week: 11

Geoff Collins was fuming at the officiating. He should have fumed at his defense that couldn’t make a tackle against Pittsburgh.

11. Wake Forest (4-4)

Last Week: 8

Wake Forest has been all over these rankings, but a 45-21 loss to Louisville sent them tumbling.

10. Louisville (4-7)

Last Week: 12

Scott Satterfield’s name has already popped up on Auburn’s open coaching position. Is this for real? He’s not leaving, but once you get that reputation for a wandering eye… Louisville did knock off Wake Forest this past week.

9. Virginia (5-5)

Last Week: 6

Virginia played a miserable game against Virginia Tech. I expected a much better effort from the Hoos.

8. Virginia Tech (5-6)

Last Week: 10

Justin Fuente may have saved his job with an inspired Virginia Tech performance against Virginia.

7. Pitt (6-5)

Last week: 9

Pat Narduzzi made some strange decisions, but the reality is Pitt controlled the game action against Georgia Tech. A good finish to an up and down season. QB Kenny Pickett returning is big news for Pitt.

6. Boston College (6-5)

Last Week: 7

BC can enjoy the holidays after a nice first season under Hafley.

5. NC State (8-3)

Last Week: 5

Miami looked so bad against UNC, I almost had NC State jump them. NC State awaits a well earned bowl destination.

4. Miami (8-2)

Last Week: 3

Miami cost themselves an Orange Bowl when their defense decided to take a vacation against UNC.

3. North Carolina (8-3)

Last Week: 4

North Carolina looked incredible against Miami. It’s was an offensive show that totaled nearly 800 yards of offense against what we thought was a decent Miami defense.

2. Clemson (9-1)

Last Week: 2

It’s here. The biggest game of the season with so much on the line. The ACCCG is a must win for Clemson to make the playoffs.

1. Notre Dame (10-0)

Last Week: 1

If Notre Dame beats Clemson twice, the ACC might not ever invite Notre Dame back. It could happen, the Irish are really good.
