ACC Football Power Rankings after Week 13

#StayHealthy and practice social distancing.

ACC Team of the Week : Notre Dame – for their 31-17 win over North Carolina

15. Syracuse (1-9)

Last Week : 15

Syracuse was competitive in their loss to NC State, but this season can end soon enough. Oh no it’s Notre Dame next week.

14. Florida State (2-6)

Last Week: 14

Recently Asante Samual Jr opted out, and another game was cancelled by FSU. I seriously considered dropping FSU to last on this list.

13. Duke (2-7)

Last week: 12

Duke got pounded by Georgia Tech 56-33 in what has turned into a really ugly season in Durham. David Cutcliffe won’t be forced out, but the program is trending towards back toward what he inherited.

12. Louisville (3-7)

Last Week: 10

Louisville hung tough with BC, but it was another loss in a forgettable season.

11. Georgia Tech (3-5)

Last Week: 13

Georgia Tech produced one their best performances of the season dropping 56 on Duke. There have been glimpses this season of what Geoff Collins is trying to build.

10. Virginia Tech (4-5)

Last Week: 11

A motivated Clemson awaits Virginia Tech. This won’t be good for the Hokies.

9. Pitt (5-5)

Last week: 9

Pitt was the unfortunate team to be Clemson’s first opponent after losing to Notre Dame. It was 31-0 after the first quarter. Georgia Tech is on December 10th.

8. Virginia (4-4)

Last Week: 8

Boston College and Virginia is a low-key pretty good game this upcoming week.

7. Wake Forest (4-3)

Last Week: 6

COVID has shutdown Wake Forest this upcoming week. Who knows if the Deacs will get to their Dec 12 game with Louisville.

6. Boston College (6-4)

Last Week: 6

BC is assured of winning season after beating Louisville. Nice work by Jeff Hafley in his first year at Boston College.

5. NC State (7-3)

Last Week: 5

It hasn’t always looked pretty, but NC State is 7-3 after beating Syracuse. Don’t sleep on Georgia Tech next week.

4. North Carolina (6-3)

Last Week: 4

North Carolina stayed with Notre Dame for the majority of the game, and they even got a good performance from the defense. The offensive line just couldn’t handle the Irish front. Western Carolina provides a chance to re-group.

3. Miami (7-1)

Last Week: 3

The Wake Forest game was cancelled. Struggling Duke is next for a Miami team ready to play.

2. Clemson (8-1)

Last Week: 2

Clemson was angry and played like it in 52-17 win over Pitt. Virginia Tech is standing in the way of an ACC title game berth… not good for the Hokies.

1. Notre Dame (9-0)

Last Week: 1

Notre Dame faced their last real test before Clemson in the ACC Title game in beating UNC. They aren’t the favorite, but they are good enough win the national championship.
