ACC Power Rankings after Week 12

#StayHealthy and practice social distancing.

ACC Team of the Week : North Carolina State – for their 15-13 win over Liberty

15. Syracuse (1-8)

Last Week : 15

Other ACC coaches seem to have gotten more heat than Dino Babers, but the Cuse have been an absolute disaster this year. They just lost 30-0 to a depleted Louisville team. This is headed towards a 1-10 nightmare season.

14. Florida State (2-6)

Last Week: 14

Florida State cancelled their game with Clemson. They probably should just cancel the 2020 season.

13. Georgia Tech (2-5)

Last Week: 13

If Georgia Tech doesn’t beat Duke this weekend, they may not win another game.

12. Duke (2-6)

Last week: 12

Duke has two winnable games to finish the season with Georgia Tech and Florida State up next.

11. Virginia Tech (4-5)

Last Week: 9

Virginia Tech managed to not lose a game in the final minutes against Pitt. They went ahead and just got blown out. They have week to prepare for a beatdown from Clemson. Justin Fuente is big big trouble.

10. Louisville (3-6)

Last Week: 11

Cards showed some pride this week in a crushing Syracuse Friday night. Boston College will be a tough test.

9. Pitt (5-4)

Last week: 10

Pitt probably won’t be any match for Clemson, but it was a solid win over Virginia Tech this past week.

8. Virginia (4-4)

Last Week: 7

Virginia didn’t do anything to get dropped. I just had to move up NC State after their upset win. I actually like where this team is headed.

7. Boston College (5-4)

Last Week: 6

BC has done a lot of good work this year. Don’t slip up against Louisville.

6. Wake Forest (4-3)

Last Week: 5

Wake Forest’s next two games are brutal with Miami and Notre Dame coming up.

5. NC State (6-3)

Last Week: 8

NC State came up with a spectacular defensive performance in knocking off a Liberty team that had already beat two ACC teams. This could be one of Dave Doeren’s best coaching jobs since he’s been at NC State.

4. North Carolina (6-2)

Last Week: 4

North Carolina has the offense to cause Notre Dame a lot of problems this week. Can the defense make a least a few stops to give the Heels a real chance at an upset?

3. Miami (7-1)

Last Week: 3

Miami get the rest of the month to prepare for the stretch run. A Big 6 bowl game is there for taking with a good finish.

2. Clemson (7-1)

Last Week: 2

Clemson didn’t play FSU this weekend due to the game being cancelled. Getting back in the playoff chase starts with Pitt this weekend.

1. Notre Dame (8-0)

Last Week: 1

Notre Dame’s defense hasn’t been great in their last two games. The UNC Offense will provide a major test. Fortunately the Heels don’t really play much defense. The game is Friday at 3:30.
